from 9:30 A.M. – 4 P.M. All workshops are skill levels: Beginner – Advanced.
Approx. cost $50. Payment deadline is the month before the workshop occurs.
Open to non-members if space permits for approx. $60.

Saturday, March 31, Linda Pooles Hearts Desire Workshop: Using pre-made bias tape, learn to create winding vines and stems where blooming hearts bud. Curves will no longer be dangerous, points will point… you can do applique! This wonderful glue-stick wash away sheet technique will wash all your fears away all on the sewing machine or by hand.. your choosing! $50, Location: Cutchogue-New Suffolk Library, 9:30 AM – 4 PM, $20 kit fee if desired, see supply list for details on what is included in the kit.

Saturday, August 4, Peggy Oppenheimer, Homestead Star/Spilt Bear Paw Workshop: Join Peg Oppenheimer in learning the joys of quilting. As a certified instructor of Jodi Barrows’ Square in a Square™ method of quilting, Peg leads classes and workshops all over the Northeast, and especially in Western New York. From presentations on basic or advanced Square in a Square™, to appliqué, paper piecing, and much more! Peg also carries a wide range of quilting books and supplies, including Square in a Square™ rulers, Quilt House Spinners, and the Little Foot – the best way to sew a perfect 1/4″ seam every time!
Saturday, October 6, Susan Faeders’ Folded kimono & Flower Workshop: Learn a bit of Japanese origami and then reproduce your folded origami kimono and flowers in fabric. Appliquéd to a background, the kimono and folded flowers make a lovely small quilt. Using stencils for design will also be discussed.
