2024 President's Challenge

PRESIDENT’S CHALLENGE – “Seasons of our Life”

EASTERN LI QUILT GUILD, Nancy Raynor, President 2024

You are to create an 8” x 40” vertical quilt hanging representing the season of your birthday, according to the meteorological calendar. 

Specific color directions are:

(Dec, Jan, Feb) -- Winter: grey, red, dark green, blue

(March, April, May) -- Spring: yellow, pink, blue, green, lavender

(June, July, August) -- Summer: yellow, orange, purple, blue, green

(Sept, Oct, Nov) -- Fall: yellow, orange, brown, green

White and black can also be used but should not be the predominant colors. Any technique or design can be used; but please keep to the specific dimensions as we will display each season together as a mural at our upcoming quilt exhibit in 2025!
